Scopes of Journal

Building Research Journal
brj_logo

A scientific journal involves:

•    providing a publication channel for new developments and achievements in structural
engineering and building science,
•    peer-reviewing of the manuscripts by two experts and publication,
•    broad scope for wide participation and dissemination of new research results,
•    wide distribution at affordable subscription rates. The main topics of the Journal are items of mechanics,
structural science, materials, buildingphysics and experimental research in civil enginering.

Focused are theoretical, numerical and experimental problems of structural mechanics, design of metal, concrete and wood structures, the effects of wind, earthquake and wave loadings on struc-tures, fluid- and soil-structure interactions, structural optimization, safety, reliability and control of structures, technology and physicochemical mechanics of new structural materials as well as the problems of daylighting, acoustics and thermal performance of structures.
Submissions of original papers from top scientists, researchers and practising engineers from all countries are particularly encouraged.
